大学简介
马来西亚博特拉大学，简称“博大”“UM”，成立于1931年，位于马来西亚联邦雪兰莪州沙登地区，是东南亚著名综合性研究型大学。学校拥有16个学院、11个研究所、2个高等专科学院、8个学术中心、12个研究中心、附属医学院、2个研究生院和位于砂拉越州的1个分校。
在校学生总数16556人，其中国际学生7225人，教职员工数2165人。

马来西亚博特拉大学是马来西亚中植被覆盖率最广的大学，也是一所专注于农业科学、林业和畜牧研究的学校，校区分布：
主校区：位于马来西亚雪兰莪沙登，位于吉隆坡的南部，占地1103公顷。
砂拉越校区：位于砂拉越地区，农业与食品科学学院在砂捞越分校展开办学，占地有715公顷。
